The composition reflects the profound impact of the church’s architecture, shaped by the passage of time. It draws creative inspiration from the marks etched by history onto the structure, the intertwining growth of plants and trees, and the movement of various life forms within the space.
We extend our sincere gratitude to esteemed Malaysian Chinese literary figure, Mr. Lü Yutao, for his masterfully crafted poetry. His verses evoke a deep sense of timeless beauty and melancholic reflection. Additionally, we would like to thank dancer Candy Chen Yuxuan from Wink Studio Dance Academy for enriching the performance with her graceful choreography, enhancing the visual and auditory experience of this work with elegance and fluidity.

The ” Malaysia-China 24 Festive Drums Cultural Exchange Tour” concluded with resounding success. Jointly organized by the Sense Ensemble Percussion Group and Kita No Taiko, this event was held on March 9 at OUG Yuk Nam Chinese Primary School, showcasing two captivating drumming performances. The powerful rhythms of the 24 Festive Drums exemplified the cultural integration between Malaysia and China, providing the audience with a captivating visual and auditory experience.
This tour facilitated the exchange and preservation of traditional arts, allowing audiences to appreciate the profound cultural significance behind the drumming performances.
